Maybe calculate the FOV based on scope and eyepiece and auto zoom to that level like stellarium's eyepiece plugin. This would make it easier to use for polar alignment (showing exactly what you should see in the eyepiece). This view may need to be inverted depending on the type of scope being used I think.

Actually this could be an alternative (or addition) to default telrad circles. User would define multiple "eyepiece circles", each specified by its real FOV and each having a short label input by user (hence no need to calculate RFOV from the scope and eyepiece params) The algorithm for picking an eyepiece circle to display would be very similar to that one for picking telrad circles. RFOV and user label would be displayed on left and right sides of the eyepiece circle.
Obviously, adding a setting to flip the view horizontally and/or vertically is a prerequisite for sensible using such "eyepiece circles". -

Could it be possible to switch the view on the phone East-West and North-South in order to see the same FOV both on the phone and the scope ?
Thank you
